Maybe…Once Again Watercolour Print

A wide expanse of savanna greets you. A blue afternoon sky and distant hills give way to multi coloured grassland. Animals more familiar on African plains are there.

However, look closely, there are iced patches and the rhinoceros is wholly. The striped hyaenas and distant steppe bison occurred together with the rhino in ice-age Britain.

Cold yes, but the climate was dry and the brief summers would have provided plentiful food on the tundra. Blue skies predominated.

Sadly, the wholly rhinoceros will not come back, but when mankind’s reign is over, the world, including Britain will rewild.
